The theme for this year is ‘Space and Sustainability’. \nThe celebrations will be kicked off with a Space Walk on 4 October 2022\, a walkathon by school students through the main town of Puttaparthi to create awareness about space science and our space programs with society. The Spacewalk will be flagged off by Sri Rahul Dev Singh\, IPS\, Superintendent of Police\, Puttaparthi. \nHon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh Shri Biswabhushan Harichandan will be the Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony to be held on 5th October 2022. Kasturirangan\, Chancellor\, Central University of Rajasthan\, is an Astrophysicist with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for over a period of nearly 35 years including nearly 10 years as its Chairman from 1994-2003.
