This event will bring together distinguished experts and participants\, offering an opportunity to dive into the fascinating world of microorganisms through hands-on workshops\, lectures\, and an engaging exhibition. \nThe first day is dedicated to a workshop on microbial handling techniques and biosafety\, allowing participants to gain practical experience in essential microbial practices such as Gram staining\, antibiotic susceptibility testing\, and yeast/fungal culture techniques.  \nThe highlight of the second day will be the esteemed Dr. K Gopinatha Rao Memorial Lecture\, delivered by Prof. V Nagaraja\, an Honorary Professor at IISc\, Bengaluru\, and Former President of JNCASR\, Bengaluru. The event will also feature a special address by the Guest of Honour\, Prof. D Narasimha Rao\, Former Professor at IISc\, and Convener of the Talent Development Centre\, IISc\, Bengaluru. DESCRIPTION:Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at SSSIHL\, as a part of its post-accreditation quality initiative\, had conducted the first episode of a series of Workshops on OBE\, titled “Overview of OBE” on the 4th July 2023 at Prasanthi Nilayam Campus.  \nIn continuation of this\, SSSIHL-IQAC organizes Episode 2 of the OBE Workshop series\, titled “PEOs\, POs\, PSOs and Curriculum Mapping” at Prasanthi Nilayam Campus on the 19th of August 2023 from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. The distinguished resource persons are Dr. Rani P L\, Associate Professor of English\, Former IQAC Coordinator\, and currently Advisor to IQAC; Dr. S Balasubramanian\, Associate Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science\, Former IQAC Dy. Coordinator\, and currently Advisor to IQAC; and Sri K V R K Bhargav\, Deputy Manager (Administration) – IQAC office.  \nThe designated nominees\, joined by the Deans of the Faculties\, HoDs and AHoDs of all the departments\, will participate in the workshop as representatives and will subsequently impart the skills to the faculty members in their respective academic departments to facilitate a gradual implementation of OBE in their programmes. \nEvent Flyer
