ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting directly to the Director, Prasanthi Nilayam Campus, the Assistant Manager (Administration) enhances operational efficiency by managing administrative coordination, documentation and Management Information System (MIS) reporting for the Director’s office. He ensures smooth interdepartmental communication, assists with the admissions process, and maintains strict adherence to institutional policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Coordination & Office Management

Ensure the smooth running of the office by organizing meetings, managing correspondence, and drafting official communications.
Maintain filing systems, manage document control, and ensure proper record-keeping.
Handle research, confidential, and restricted data as required for Institute projects.

Liaison & Compliance Management

Liaise with staff, faculty and students to ensure smooth interactions and compliance.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations and documentation for regulatory requirements.
Prepare and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports and dashboards.
Ensure adherence to Institute policies and administrative guidelines.

Operational Efficiency & Support

Maintain and update Institute databases, track office inventories, and oversee general administrative tasks.
Assist in handling Institute dispatch and internal correspondence management.
Support event coordination, logistics, and planning for official programmes.
Oversee contingent workers for the upkeep of the campus.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a recognized Institute with Specialization in statistics, administration, management or a related field is preferred, with at least 55% (50% in case of SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD).
2-4 years of administrative experience in a recognized University/DTBU/R&D institution/reputed MNC company with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Hands-on experience in maintenance of Management Information System (MIS) reports and dashboards, documentation and official correspondence with strong English communication skills (written & verbal).
Knowledge of UGC/AICTE/NCTE/GoI/MoE rules & regulations is desired. A working knowledge of the latest Government data privacy standards and Compliance norms is an added advantage.
