ROLE OVERVIEW

The Manager (Digital Media) will play a major role in the creation, management and dissemination of the Institute’s digital assets for all external SSSIHL communication. This includes visual communication (photography and videography), publishing (website and social media platforms) and design and content support (specific projects, organization and archival). .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Visual Content Creation: Support the design team in producing high-quality multimedia content. This includes finalising and editing photographs and videos for SSSIHL events, brochures, advertisements, publications, presentations, and other external communication.
  • Publishing Content: Work with the design, social media and multimedia teams to publish content (academic, research and integral education) on the official SSSIHL website, social media platforms and other digital communication.
  • Assets Management: Collect, collate, edit, organize and archive SSSIHL external content (Academic, Research and Integral Education). This includes stock photos and videos, documents, gifts & prizes, branding assets, project and event materials, etc.
  • Planning & Project Management: Develop and sustain project plans (and deliverables) for SSSIHL multimedia initiatives and events. This includes managing calendars and collaborating with campuses and academic departments (including special projects) to produce timely, high-quality content for SSSIHL external communication.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Graphic Design, Visual Communications or a related creative field from a recognized institution with at least 55% (50% in case of SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD).
  • Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience (in a creative environment) with a reputed MNC/University/DTBU/R&D institution.
  • Software Skills: Moderate to advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator, along with a working knowledge of video editing software such as Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • CMS Proficiency (WordPress): Comfortable managing the backend of a website, including formatting blog posts, optimizing images for the web, creating, updating and maintaining content on pages, with a basic understanding of SEO flow.
  • Aesthetic Sensibility: A sharp eye and passion for visual storytelling (composition, balance, typography, colour harmony, etc.) and the ability to maintain visual consistency across outputs in line with SSSIHL branding.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, reliable, organised, disciplined, eager to learn (with an eye for detail) and the ability to work under deadline pressure in a structured, non-commercial environment.
