A graduate in Physics from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL), Prof. Rani later pursued her interest in Literature, completing her postgraduate degree in 1995. In 1996, she joined the Department of English Language & Literature at SSSIHL as a faculty member.
In the same year, she qualified the National Eligibility Test for Lectureship, conducted by the Andhra Pradesh College Service Commission. She subsequently completed the Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching of English (PGCTE) from the Central Institute of English & Foreign Languages (CIEFL) in 2002, securing an ‘A’ grade. She received her doctoral degree in 2011 from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur.
In addition to her teaching and academic contributions, Prof. Rani has held significant leadership and administrative responsibilities. She previously served as the Dean of Humanities & Social Sciences, Languages & Literature.
Currently, Prof. Rani serves as the Director of the Anantapur Campus, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning.
