Dr. Siva Kiran Guptha K graduated from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) in 2008 with a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics. He subsequently pursued his M.A. and M.Phil. in Economics at SSSIHL and joined the Institute as an Assistant Professor in 2012.
In early 2020, Dr. Guptha completed his Ph.D. at SSSIHL. His doctoral thesis, titled “The Relationship between Financial Development and Economic Growth: An Empirical Evidence from BRICS Economies,” examined the relationship between financial development and economic growth across the BRICS economies.
Over the years, Dr. Guptha has contributed to the academic and administrative activities of the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences. He previously served as the Associate Head of the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences at the Prasanthi Nilayam Campus.
Currently, Dr. Guptha serves as the Head of the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning.
