Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL), Anantapur Campus, observed Anti-Ragging Week from 12–18 August 2026, reaffirming its commitment to fostering a safe, respectful and caring campus environment.
The week featured a series of awareness and engagement activities, including a Panel Discussion Competition, the interactive session “Where Do We Draw the Line?”, a “Ragging-Free Campus” Human Chain, and a Digital Campaign Pitch Competition. Students explored the role of institutional policies, campus culture, empathy, responsible behaviour, bystander intervention and peer responsibility in preventing ragging.
The week concluded with a Valedictory Programme and Certificate Distribution, recognising student participation and creativity throughout the initiative.
Rooted in the values of respect, care, responsibility and sisterhood, the Anti-Ragging Week reaffirmed that ragging is alien to the ethos and culture of SSSIHL.
