TECHONOMICS – Empowering Women, Igniting Innovation

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Anantapur campus in association with the Indian Council of Social Science Research – Southern Region Centre (ICSSR-SRC) is organizing a 2-day workshop titled TECHONOMICS – Empowering Women, Igniting Innovation, on 16-17 Feb 2024, at the Anantapur campus.
Empowerment of women plays a crucial role in igniting innovation. Providing women with access to technology and digital tools enables them to overcome barriers and participate more actively in various sectors. This empowerment leads to increased economic opportunities, improved education, and enhanced social inclusion. Through technology, women can access information, connect with networks, and develop skills that enable them to contribute to innovation and entrepreneurship.
TECHONOMICS will see seasoned academicians and industry experts explore the various facets of women’s empowerment, their impact on family, society, and the nation, and the role of technology and innovation in bridging the gender gap, enabling them to realize their potential and driving positive change.
