A 15-member team of students from the Brindavan Campus of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning won the “Overall Championship” at Datamaze 2023 – a national Level Inter Collegiate Data Science and Statistics fest – organized by the Dept. of Statistics and Data Science at the Central Campus of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, on 15th of February 2023.
Out of the 13 events organized, the SSSIHL team participated in 8 events and won the first place in 5 events and the second place in 3 events. The details are as follows:
- Jeopardy: First Place (out of 12 teams). Winners: Deva Narayana Babu, Manan Luthra, and Manoj Reddy
- Catch me if you can: First Place (out of 7 teams). Winners: Sai Adithya, Sai Saketh, and Yedu Krishna
- Bet a code: First Place (out of 11 teams). Winners: Manan Luthra, and Manoj Reddy
- Battle of bits: First Place & Second Place (out of 6 teams). Winners: Deva Narayana Babu (First) and Devesh Salamatani (second)
- Sell me a PC: First Place (out of 5 teams). Winners: Sai Adithya, Sai Prasad and Yedu Krishna
- Abstraction: Second Place (out of 6 teams). Winners: C Sai Kartheek,and Vishwanath
- Shark Tank: Second Place (out of 6 teams). Winners: Anjaneeya, Arindam, Charan, and Sai Prasath
Over 10 Higher Educational Institutions participated in Datamaze 2023.
